This is the best site I have come across. It gives you step by step lessons. And it also gives audio. If you look more into it shows you where you can go and get free downloads of all the things you need to know to get started. Explore the site you won't be disappointed.

By FAR, the best site out there for learning to speak, read, write, and listen. An excellent resouce for both the begining and advanced learner alike. Please by the Volume 1 CD, for offline use, well worth it in supporting this great site!

This site has a full primary reader on-line with very useful exercises. One very helpful aspect of this site is that the basics are presented in a logical and simplified, but not overly simplified, manner. This is basically a one stop site for the Thai language.
