The one of the best and easily the most inspired
site on the web.

Being a novice want-to-be woodworker I've read and applied many of Allan's tips and techniques. He is a great help and has given me confidence in tackling bigger projects!

I have been limited by my lack of tools for my entire life. Because of this, I have had to learn how to get things built and constructed with the use of simple methods and tools. I appreciate the interest in getting things DONE, not buying more expensive tools. Thanks for the guidance. I'll be using this site for help. I have finished making two beds and a couch in the last six months, but I can probably be more productive with the help I can get here.

informative, thorough, clear, helpful illustrations, AND a sense of humour - great site, thank you.

After searching the web on how to apply veneers, this web page had all the info, tips and full instructions combined with a good dash of humour. I also perused some of the other instruction articles and believe that this guy gives good common sense advice that any DIY should listen to. Clear explainations of the basics of screws, power tools and the like make up for the time you missed at the edge of your fathers work bench as a kid. The closest TV type show to this web site would be one that is seen in Canada called "Just Ask Jon Eakes". For Canadians familiar with this show they know precisely why I compare the two. I highly recommend this web site

I love how he explains things. Even a newbie like me can follow along. Please, keep up the good work. Your words and skills are appreciated.
